#TopTenTuesday: Top Ten YA Covers with Fierce Females

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s theme is a Cover Freebie Theme! In honor of ACOWAR (I promise I will eventually stop mentioning this series every week), I chose Top Ten YA Covers with Fierce Females. ACOWAR is technically NA, but so many people know Maas for her YA series Throne of Glass that it is often placed in that section in the bookstore. I have to imagine this is compounded by the fact that most bookstores do not yet have a New Adult section, so it defaults to Young Adult.

For a female to be fierce, I figured she has to be dressed to kill, or dressed as a killer, or a little of both. Feyre is certainly both of those in the new cover. So that is where we will start the top 10!

# 1 – A Court of Thorns & Roses Series by Sarah J. Maas

#2 – The Winner’s Curse Series by Marie Rutkoski

# 3 – Throne of Glass Series by Sarah J. Maas

#4 – Daugher of Smoke and Bone Series by Laini Taylor

#5 – Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead

#6 – The Selection Series by Kiera Cass

(because those dresses are definitely cover eye candy!)

#7 – Hunted by Meagan Spooner

(because she is a huntress, and I loved this Beauty and the Beast re-telling!)

#8 – Saga Graphic Novel Series by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples

#9 – Clockwork Princess (TID) and City of Lost Souls (TMI) by Cassandra Clare

#10 – Soundless by Richelle Mead

#11 (Bonus Pick) – The Glittering Court by Richelle Mead

Which YA covers would you include in the Fierce Female cover category? This was a fun week! Onward to reading ACOWAR, have a great night all!
