book sneak peek, cover reveal

Cover Reveal: Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas

I have been wondering for so long what they will do with this cover! Every other book in the series is a gorgeous color featuring Celaena/Aelin, but this book focuses on Chaol. I really didn’t want a picture of Chaol on the front in the same style that they did with the other books, not that it wouldn’t be nice to see him, but because it just wouldn’t set the book apart enough. To me, anyway. Thankfully, we don’t have to wonder anymore.

Here is the new cover as post on social media today:

What do you think?

I think I like the US version better because it shows a city in the background, but I like the title letting better on the UK version. Haha. Can’t have it both ways! Love the shield though.

Tower of Dawn is out on September 5, 2017.

And in case you missed the book blurb:

In the next installment of the New York Times bestselling Throne of Glass series, follow Chaol on his sweeping journey to a distant empire.

Chaol Westfall has always defined himself by his unwavering loyalty, his strength, and his position as the Captain of the Guard. But all of that has changed since the glass castle shattered, since his men were slaughtered, since the King of Adarlan spared him from a killing blow, but left his body broken.

His only shot at recovery lies with the legendary healers of the Torre Cesme in Antica—the stronghold of the southern continent’s mighty empire. And with war looming over Dorian and Aelin back home, their survival might lie with Chaol and Nesryn convincing its rulers to ally with them.

But what they discover in Antica will change them both—and be more vital to saving Erilea than they could have imagined.
